I pretty much stopped spending money here unless I am so low on gas while driving my Chevy, but if I need to fill up my BMW which requires at least 89 Octane or higher. The problem I have with this gas station is even when crude oil is trading $50 per barrel for a few months and gasoline price nationwide drop, this station 89 Octane never drops below $4.00 (even when crude prices and gasoline prices hit rock bottom during the pandemic). Pleasantville has several great gas station more affordable gas. Look these pictures, one is this station yesterday, the other is from last week in Stamford, CT. Scary how much these stations inflate their prices, especially when everyone has been struggling for over three years

I will never understand gas stations in this area, because it is like they collide with other stations in Millwood, Chappaqua, and MtKosco. All of them advertise the same prices imo. I am posting a screenshot shot of this stations prices compared to station on the boarder of CT and NY on 35, maybe 16 miles. Look at the prices for both 87 and 89 Octane. Old: I was running on fumes today and dropped by here because regular gas historically is lower than gas stations in Chappaqua and some in Bedford. I noticed the 89 octane went down a little, but they are keeping regular higher than to many places close by. I posted picture of the gas prices I paid at this station where I pumped one gallon so I could make it over to Pleasantville, NY 10 minutes away. This stations gas prices are always higher than stations ten or minute drive away. I would suggest checking any purchases you make in the store, because today I grabbed a container of Ice Breakers Pineapple, which at other convenient stores Ice Breakers are $3.99 or Stop & Shop $2.97. This Exxon, already known for having some of the most expensive gasoline, tried to charge me $5.99 (which is over 50% markup on what other stores sell this product for, not what the store pays for the item). Honestly I stopped buying many things because I have bought milk that was not drinkable or frozen dinners that could not be eaten because of the amount of ice from being freezer burned so severely. Pleasantville has better options for both gas and store products. Not worth taking a chance! Old: I do not understand how this gas station can get away with the prices it is charging while crude oil prices are trading at $23.67/barrel (71% of the cost of gasoline is based on crude prices). Which is why the US currently has stations selling regular gasoline below $1.00. However when I asked one of the people at the register register why their gas prices are so high even after crude has been trading at twenty year lows for over a month, his response was ”gasoline prices will never change here”. I thought he was crazy, but for four weeks now this Exxon station kept their 91 octane at the same price $3.29/gallon cash and $3.39 credited card. This may not make much since, but when WTI Crude was trading in $60 range, this Exxon charged the same price I just listed while WTI Crude is trading below $30/bbl four over six weeks and closed today below $24/bbl. I can not justify buying gas here any more knowing I can drive 3.5 miles to Pleasantville, NY and pay $2.65/gallon. If they continue price gouging I will report them. This is crazy behavior when 6.6 million people filed for unemployment this week alone raising unemployment filings to over 17 million people since the Coronavirus epidemic began.

My main complaint is that the pricing displayed isn’t the same as the price scanned when buying beverages on an hot day. Understandable prices change, so I just said if they could change the pricing displayed as to not mislead customers. However when this was brought to the manager (Frank) attention as 2 distinctly different items were priced incorrectly. He looks at me, doesn’t say a word. And doesn’t acknowledge anything wrong and walks away. Just poor service in general should be a warning to BEWARE of misleading prices when paying.

This is a very nice gas/convenient store. It is clean and well lit. The store itself is nicely laid out and has a large selection of foods and beverages. The price of gas seems to be comparable to the other local gas stations. Honestly, even if it was a bit more expensive than the other stations, I would still buy gas here. Because it is such a nice, clean, modern gas station, I feel it's worth a few pennies more. The restrooms are clean and have always had plenty of toilet paper, soap, etc... The employees have always been outstanding. This gas station is on the way to some of my families homes and I stop here every time I visit them. So I've dealt with a smattering of their employees over the years. Every one of them have been very sweet, knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I've never had even one person who works there be anything but wonderful. That, coupled with the fact that they carry the products I need (usually a case of water and healthy snacks. One time I forgot my sunglasses and they had a nice selection for not a lot of money) makes this my go to convenient store when I'm in Westchester. I definitely recommend this Exxon gas station to anyone in that area needing to fuel up their car, or themselves.
