LUKOIL Introduce

LUKOIL is a gas station located at 3513 US-1 S, Princeton, NJ 08540, serving as a key fueling point for travelers on Route 1. Known for its convenient location near the Whole Foods plaza, LUKOIL offers essential services such as gasoline for vehicles and basic convenience store items. The station is part of the larger LUKOIL network, which is known for its presence in numerous countries worldwide.

While LUKOIL provides a necessary service to drivers passing through Princeton, NJ, it has faced criticism from some customers regarding pricing and service quality. Located as the only gas station for miles on Route 1, the prices are often higher than average due to its monopoly position near a busy commercial area.

Customer feedback highlights mixed experiences. Many appreciate the availability of gasoline and convenience store items, but others have reported issues with service quality. For example:

  • A customer in July 2019 experienced poor service when an employee intentionally shut down all pumps during peak hours, causing inconvenience for drivers.
  • Another customer faced discrimination while using their card inside the station and was unfairly accused of attempting to use a fake $20 bill. This led to confusion and frustration, prompting them to seek alternative options like Wawa, which is soon opening nearby.

Despite these challenges, LUKOIL remains a notable point of interest in the Princeton area for those needing fuel or quick convenience store items. However, its reputation for high prices and inconsistent service quality may lead some drivers to explore other nearby options like Wawa as they become available.

Terrible service, the guy inside the store at 10AM July 19 shut down all pumps on purpose. And refused to open them to customers. This is unacceptable people on a highway trying to get gas.

The gas is overpriced because it’s the only station for a stretch of miles on route 1, and right next to Whole Foods plaza. Fair enough, business is business and I never had an issue with the gas or attendants outside. I regularly use my card inside but needed change today and immediately got accused of using a fake $20. No validation machine, no counterfeit marker, just said “it’s fake bro” as soon as I handed it to him. Got so distracted trying to tell me it was fake that he eventually messed up what I asked for so I decided to get a refund and go elsewhere. Thankfully a Wawa is opening up nearby because I’m really not trying to be hassled over $20 at a “convenience” store…

I only go here for the coffee Dunkin Donuts. The staff is friendly but the Lady is who I go for only! If she isn't working the day I go in . I don't . I won't. I hate when I order my coffee.. ☕ 😔 I punish myself when I do. Knowing I'm not going to enjoy my coffee. But I will try anyway. . 😢 saying why. Poor decision. My bestest decision is to smile and leave. always!

Horrible service. Just went there today with one side full of cars with one man pumping gas for 4 cars. No big deal, I went directly to the other set of gas pumps cause my tank is on the other side next to them and waited my turn. I was the only car patiently waiting on that side. My wait started to get longer and longer, but no biggie I can wait until I see a car that backs up into the gas pump right behind me. A young boy who works there (cause of his jacket) comes out to help, goes right to that car that just now pulled up first (even tho I BEEN waiting). Pumps their gas and sits down on top of the trash right in front of there car. Just waiting for there for their gas’s to full. Doesn’t even attempt to look my way or even just start the gas cause I been there to a good min and walk away. Nope just completely doesn’t care that his coworker is busy as hell. And that a paying customer, and he seen was waiting first, to just ignore me in front of my face is just crazy service to me or maybe racist. I don’t know but You want me to spend my hard working money here??? I think not. I live not even 5 mins from this gas station and I will not go again. I’ll tell everyone to stop at Sunoco before they passed this place. They have no customer service at all. I will not have people feel this area that I live in is racist. Only go there if there is no other option seriously cause wawa is only 5 mins more down route one.

They need better attendants at the pump. I mean I am completely capably of filling up the tank myself but if the pump asks me questions that only makes sense to an attendant and he leaves because he's annoyed I got out of the car to stretch? Without saying a word? Oh well. The mart guy on the other hand, was extremely friendly, making jokes and kinda made up for the pump attendant?
