Mobil

I was in the area today and was in need of fuel for my work van. This is a small station with a fairly large convenience store. The prices are a bit on the high side. Perhaps because of the area… Sadly, even though the prices are a little high, this Mobil gas stations that doesn't have hand sanitizer at the pumps. On top of the the elevated fuel prices, the receipt didn’t print out at the pump, which defeats the whole point of paying at the pump. On a positive note, there’s lots of good snacks inside and the woman running the place was cordial.

Gas is gas, but don’t go inside if you want anything more. The staff can’t be bothered to look up from their phones to help. I go to buy a drink I get their occasionally and it rings up more than in the past and more than the price on the shelf says. I question the charge and am told... “it is what it rings up as”.. I point out the price and the guy can’t even look up from his phone and just says “it is what it is”. The other dozen times I’ve been in, there isn’t any personality or attention from the cashiers, but luckily I didn’t need help then. Needless to say I walked out and suggested he look up from his phone and help the customer in front of him.

Bought milk. I opened it the same day. It smelled bad. It was already 2 days past the expiration date! Called to tell them their milk was bad. They didn't even offer to replace it. Clerk didn't sound surprised to hear that they had expired milk in the fridge.

I usual stop for me to grab a coffee, snacks, and lotto. Staff is always courteous and friendly. And also acknowledge my children. Which I find important.
