Nearly 2 years since I last reviewed a certain fuel station in Stamford, CT . . Phillips 66 . . And it’s even far better! So on a recent morning, a customer was filling her coffee cup AND simultaneously complementing the very same thing I was thinking . . Nowhere are the fuel prices lower in Stamford CT than at Phillips 66 on Newfield Avenue (Shop Rite / Grade A shopping center). Phillips 66 is a true convenient mart . . Packed to the walls with everything to satisfy any craving for any time of the day. Chips, dips, hot & cold foods, cookies, every cold beverage imaginable . . Plus the greatest Green Mountain* coffee selection in Connecticut . . They even offer my favorite pumpkin spice - and in April?! The smiling and welcoming staff are always cleaning, refilling, and sorting . . Very likable, honest guys that I trust, always. The manager - who I’ve gotten to know by being a regular customer - has decades of retail experience, so he expects a high level of customer service from his employees . . You don’t see his guys busy on their cellphones! To sum it up, Phillips 66 Stamford: The lowest fuel prices / The largest hot coffee selection / Best neighborhood fuel-mart station anywhere, bar none.

I used to like this station because it was new and shiny. Everything worked. But not any more. Twice now the pump did not print a receipt. I had to go inside. I asked the man at the counter if he will fix the pump and he looked at me as if I was speaking a foreign language. Update April 25, 2024 - I gave the station another chance. I had the same experience, different pump - no receipt.

I have never left a review for a gas station but if this gas station was a hotel it would be a 5 star all inclusive resort! The bathroom has marble floors and walls! Everything in this gas station says VALUE from the lowest price in town, to $1 coffee, $3 hot dog meal, how clean and modern it is…wow.
