Route 34 Fuel Corp Introduce

The gas station features older-style pumps that may take some getting used to, but many customers appreciate their charm. To use the pumps, you simply need to lift a lever after removing the handle, which adds a touch of old-world simplicity to the process. While the pumps themselves are decades old, they remain fully functional and reliable for those who know how to operate them.

One notable feature of Route 34 Fuel Corp is its pricing, which often matches or beats major retailers like Costco for regular fuel grades. This makes it a popular choice among budget-conscious drivers. Inside the station, you'll find friendly staff ready to assist with any questions or concerns, adding a welcoming touch to your visit.

Customer feedback highlights both the pros and cons of visiting Route 34 Fuel Corp. Many appreciate the reasonable prices and the opportunity to pay inside with cash or debit, which bypasses potential issues with outdated credit card readers. However, there have been occasional reports of payment system vulnerabilities in the past, though these appear to be isolated incidents.

Positive reviews emphasize the affordability of all types of fuel and the convenience of the location for those traveling between Orange and New Haven. The station's pumps, while older, are described as not too difficult to use, with a simple latch mechanism that customers find charming rather than cumbersome.

  • Competitive Pricing: Route 34 Fuel Corp offers prices comparable to major retailers, making it an attractive option for cost-conscious drivers.
  • Old-Style Pumps: The station features older pumps with a lever mechanism that adds character and functionality.
  • Friendly Service: Customers often praise the helpful staff and the welcoming atmosphere during business hours.

In summary, Route 34 Fuel Corp is more than just a gas station鈥攊t's a local spot known for its charm, affordability, and reliable service. Whether you're passing through or need a quick fill-up, it's worth considering for your next trip to the pumps.

Prices usually the same as Costco Gas at least for regular fuel grade. They only have Old pumps where you gotta lift the lever after taking the handle off to start the pump but I don't mind a little old fashion馃槈. I've also heard credit card info has been stolen here multiple times from the pump and they weren't helpful with the victims trying to get info but like I said "THIS IS ONLY WHAT I HEARD" I usually pay inside with cash or debit and never had an issue.. Now I'm not sure who owns or operates it but there's a soft spoken gentleman who is there most times I go and is really nice and helpful. Only had one bad experience but that was after hours, I stopped in the lot after they were closed cause I had to get out and look for something I dropped under my seat, out of nowhere a man walks up (who lives in the house on the property of the gas station which is right next to it) and starts yelling at me and tells me hes calling the cops as hes on the phone giving my cars description!! Now i had been there for 5 min and he could clearly see i had my back door open looking for something and chose to flip out on me and do that instead of asking if I was okay or what I was doing馃檮..But whatever as far as when it's open no complaints馃槀

Nice little gas station with good pricing for all types of fuel. The pumps are at least 40 years old, but it's not as hard as it seems to use them - there's a latch you have to lift up before pumping gas. The pumps' credit card readers don't seem to work too well with modern cards, but paying inside bypasses that issue. Overall a great place to fuel up on the Orange/New Haven line.

The worst experience ever...none of the gas pumps take my GasBuddy card which gives me discount on gas...even my debit card won't go through....only credit or cash inside...and it's not convenient when you're coming South, you need to make a U-Turn further down...you also need to use country roads to find the station...Don't try to go there...a waste of time....!!!

Thanks, Brooklyn, gentrification notwithstanding...a fair and decent market considering quality. Clean and The fruit was reasonable and fresh. Great salad bar for a food market. Bakery passed the muffin test, lol

Their prices are competitive with the surrounding stations. I choose to go here because of their really old pumps. Very cool
