I use the air machine regularly and wonder about the accuracy of the gauge. Outside of that. It does work and I found the cashiers very friendly. Anyone that complains about the gas price can simply use their smart phone to find cheaper gas 1/4 mile away.

On their website it says that it is open 24 hours when this is totally false. I arrived at 5am and all the machines and lights were off.

Please Do NOT buy gas or support in any way this Shell Gas Station in New Rochelle, New York. Tonight I went there to put air in my tires. After putting money into the air machine and trying to put air into the tires my husband and I realized that the pin in the gauge was broken. Instead of filling my tires with air, the machine was actually emptying my tires. I went inside to notify the owner and to ask for my money back. The cashier refused to give me my money back and instead told me that it was my tires that were the issue. I told him to take a look at the machine and that he could even try it himself to see that I was not lying. He steadfastly refused and continued to say that the machine was fine and I was the issue. My husband then came inside to explain the problem at which point the owner begrudgingly told the cashier to give us our money back. The cashier while handing over 75 cents said to us, "I know you're just trying to scam us." He then went on to call My husband a murderer and terrorist. Based on his comments, It seems he passed judgement on what ethnicity he thought we were and decided we were not worthy of being treated fairly and with respect. No one, regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, or sex deserves to be demeaned, called names or accused of things they are not. And businesses that engage in the type of behavior displayed tonight deserve to be shut down by not being patronized.

Stopped at the gas station convenience store for a candy bar. It was overpriced at $1.58 but I was hungry so I paid with a five. I got 40 cents in change. When I told the fellow at the register I gave him a five he insisted I gave him two singles- I did not have two singles but he was adamant. I finally left but I don't like being short-changed on a candy bar. Obviously not going there again and I suggest you avoid it too.

My car had an issue as soon as I pulled into the station, but we were parallel parked blocking 2 angled parking spots. My mother and I were trying to figure out what was wrong with the car and the owner insisted on moving the car out of the way. We weren't blocking anyone coming into the station, or preventing anyone from getting out of a spot. The only good thing I can say is he and 2 other men helped push the car to the far end of the gas station to an isolated corner so we could wait for assistance. I just found his demeanor to be pushy and rude to 2 women who were having car trouble, as if we were a complete burden.
