I’m an Uber driver from Northport. Why is it with numerous gas stations all over Long Island selling gas at $2.99 a gallon and the average around $3.19, this rip off station has the nerve to still charge $3.76 a gallon. And what gets me is there’s always cars in there getting gas. Just go a mile and a half south on Larkfield and you can get gas at $3.10 a gallon cash or debit. That’s an incredible 66 cents a gallon less. Why would people patronize this Speedway with their exorbitant prices?

This place is absolutely terrible. They are always understaffed, and even with a full staff they are usually so lazy that they decide to close off half of the pumps. They are always functional, but never open (see picture of coned off pumps). Sometimes they have the best credit prices around and full service, but hardly worth the wait ever. Also all of the people who work here are rude and sometimes do not say a word to you. This gas station is the most miserable place in Northport - possibly all of long island.

I’ve been going to this pace many years as being a resident of Centerport. Many of times I’ve gone there and all except the young gentleman that works there has been nice. They are completely RUDE and inappropriate. The older man always smells of alcohol on his breath. The tiny man who does not speak a words of English is abrupt always has his fly open . After today’s experience, I will never return to that gas station ever again. I’ve spent a lot of money between gas and cigarettes at that location. To be treated, so unkindly is disgusting. All of them should be fired. That’s the only way I would return to that location..

I stopped to get gas. The guy literally ripped the credit card out of my hand. I cancelled the sale and left. He was very rude

At 3:45 PM on Sunday, 1/15/23 I pulled in to fill my tank. One side of the station was closed, I pulled up to a pump while the attendant was talking to a customer in their car. I waited awhile wnd then another car pulled in well after I did. The attendant, not being attentive went to the car that came in after I did and proceeded to pump their gas. The attendant then came around, I gave him my credit card, he asked for my zip (which I gave him); I mentioned that I was their first. The attendant then asked me for the second time for my zip, with an attitude. He became rude and walked away with my gas tanl open and refused to pump my gas. I'm 74 years old and in my 58 years of driving have never encountered a service person to be not only rude but refuse to pump my gas. I will never go to this Speedway again; I have been using this station for over 30 years!!
