First of all, it is usually a little more expensive here than the mobil station by Midland Avenue, which is also self service. But I’m here because the new young cashier is rude and refused to give me $.23 change on drinks I got with my gas. It’s not the money that bothers me. It’s that I waited for change, then asked for change, and he just shrugged his shoulders saying ‘you’re good…’, motioning his head for me to leave, even though the digital read out clearly said he owed me 23 cents. First time I’ve ever experienced a cashier telling me they were entitled to my change without my permission. It’s the principal of it that insults me. Bottom line, life is too short to deal with entitled rudeness like this. I’m never coming back here and I encourage anyone reading this to avoid this place as well.

This is a decent spot to stop for gas and soda. It gets busy so you have to wait for a spot to open at times, but they keep the place clean and well stocked. The staff have always been kind to me, but they have been closed a few times in the middle of the night when I've dropped by even though they are supposed to be open 24-7. I like it, and I keep coming back.

From February 2022 (the time of this review changed when I edited a spelling error). There is a very rude man who works there! I was there on Tuesday, February 16th, around 4:50pm. All I was doing was trying to pack my bag with what I purchased and he told me that I had to hurry up because only one register was open. He was not even the cashier, so maybe he should have opened the other register when a line formed. I had breakable objects in my bag and had to pack things carefully. I told him off "nicely" and left since I did not want to cause a scene or lose my temper. **Update** Yesterday evening (Monday, March 1st) I went back to shop at Speedway and the man recognized me and apologized and calmly explained his side of what happened. I then explained my side of things as well and he understood. I'm happy to give an update with this peaceful resolution because it shows that things can be solved in positive ways. This interaction has made me feel better about being a customer at that location, and I will continue to happily do business with Speedway at their Hylan Blvd location.

Terrible place and please don't go. The gas is fine if you use a card. If you go into the store you're done. I tried to buy vuse pods and then it went down hill. They sold me the wrong thing and said I can't return it because there are no managers there. They say they have no change so they just take the rest about the dollar above American change...again no managers sorry. No quarters nickel or dimes. It's all on their video. I'm quite sure the clerk was high as hell. Check the video at around 330pm today corparate.
