Brenda was so very kind, polite and helpful. She tried to save me money and returned a dollar that was stuck together. She made my experience a very positive one.

The freshest coffee this side of the Hudson! Merchandise attractively organized and displayed. Refrigerators cold and clean. A bulletin board displays local notices. Bathroom maintained well. There is an automatic teller machine, booth seating inside, and two picnic tables al fresco. Friendly staff. All gas pumps in working order. Easy ingress/egress to the intersection.

I go to this Stewart's at least once a day. I asked for a pack of cigarettes like I do every day and said I have my ID. The girl at the register stood there and refused to go get the cigarettes until I give her my ID. I explained by the time she came back I'd have it out as I had a new wallet and was having difficulty getting it out of the slot. She still refused to go get them and stood there watching me. I got my ID out and she still refused to go get the cigarettes unless I handed her my ID for her to walk away with it. I told her theres absolutely no reason she needs to take my ID away from this register and asked to speak to a manager. A blonde woman came out I'm not sure she's even a manager there honestly. She explained "that's how SOME of them do it". I've only had these two employees do this. Some of the employees don't even ask me for my ID because I go there everyday. I asked the manager, "why do you do that? is it so you don't have to walk back and put the cigarettes back", and she said "yea pretty much"... So because you're too lazy to walk back and put cigarettes back on the shelf you waste my time, everyone else's time, and pose and infringement on my personal information and personal space. There is absolutely no reason for an employee to take my ID away from the register and in reality there is really no reason she has to take my ID into her hands at all. Considering we are in the time of COVID and the flu season this increases transmission after touching hundreds of IDs and cash all day. The employee can easily look at my picture, DOB, and expiration date as I hold the ID up and then turn it around for her to scan the back. I always have my ID and I did not refuse to show her it. As I walk out the door she tells me don't tell her how to do her job..all because I wouldn't let her walk away with my ID?? Insanity! I live walking distance to this Stewart's and honestly would rather drive past it than deal with this nonsense again.

Very nice stewart's, Andrew really helped me out and gave me the best service possible. He made the best peanut butter pandemonium milkshake i've ever had and he even gave me some tourist information about Poughkeepsie. The lady that was working with Andrew with the curly dark hair was also very kind and insightful. Can't remember her name but she had a great smile, very welcoming. Thank you Andrew and lady which i dont know your name, I will be back to get another milkshake

We're visiting from South Florida. My sister in law told me, "Let's go 🚶‍♀️. I want you to try the best ice cream ever ! Absolutely right ! Love it
