Stewart's Shops

Normally every Stewart’s is nice but this one in particular does not follow. One of the older ladies working here rather than helping ignored customers and sent them to the other register with a rude tone while doing nothing. This left the store backed up and clearly she is taking advantage of the newer employee! Keep driving until you get to the next Stewart’s!

I'll start by saying we love this place! We always go here for ice cream, and it is truly some of the best I've had. The experience has always been great up until now.... It's a Saturday night, 9:45 PM. The place closes at 11. JUAN, behind the counter, starts to literal huff and puffi, which I didn't yet know was a total tantrum, as we approach the counter. I say hello, no answer, more huffing to himself. I realize he's heard me but doesn't respond, so I follow with, "Hard day"? Just trying to make small talk cause we're immediately uncomfortable. He suddenly blurts out, "You're here for Ice cream right?! I've been serving ice cream for five hours straight! I freaking hate ice cream now. I just wanna go home!" 😳🤯 I'm like, "i'm so sorry to hear that! It has been a hot day, so i'm sure it's been busy." I giggle a little to help him feel better, BUT NO! He grunts some more and rudely asks, "What are you having?" As if tobrush us. I'm talking rude attitude, tone, all of it as if hoping to dissuade us even though it's an hour til close. Truly the rudest experience with only ever having had respectful service before this moment. We get our ice cream and go out to our car to eat it because eating in doesn't feel like an option. As we exit, JUAN partially shuts the lights as if to push us out and dissuade others from entering. It works. We watch as a few customers hesitate as they walk towards the shop. Some enter, others decide its closing and leave. Juan then has the audacity to exit the store and chills outside the store so he can kill time and play with his phone. UNBELIEVABLE! In short, Juan buddy, you need to get another job! One you like. And don't let it be anything related to customer service til you learn what that is. Stewards, I love your Ice cream and go to many of your locations. This was bad! Juan needs to go!

Used to not mind this store but moldy food is a pretty huge turn off. Disappointed.

Only place around that has free air. Yummy milk shakes especially on a hot day. Lots of ice cream flavor. Good variety of other quick mart types of food and snacks. Parking is a little crowded because the store is on a busy corner but parking has improved with a new store and parking lot enlarged a few years ago. The young man (reddish brown hair and beard) who waited on me was personable and friendly even when I asked to change the flavor of ice cream before he started making them. The store was quite busy and unfortunately he had to leave the register to make the shakes.
