They have a reasonable selection of drinks and a Sonic inside (though it’s the slowest Sonic I’ve ever been to). The pumps aren’t maintained well, but they do pump gas — and prices are roughly the same as anywhere else in the area. But honestly the people running this place are just really angry at life and take it out on you if you shop there. For example, their card reader can be dodgy — but if your card doesn’t read the first time (not a problem anywhere else) they’ll start snapping at you like it’s your fault. Not the end of the world to meet a rude person, of course, but there are three or four other gas stations nearby where the people are pleasant — and for the same price, I’d rather have a pleasant experience. (The Cumberland Farms station a bit up the road, for example, always seems to be staffed by really nice people.) It’s so bad, in fact, that my 8-year old son today used this Sunoco as an example of people who are rude — and he’s only been in there once! I get the sense that this is the dodgy gas station in the area, and maybe that’s why the people there are so consistently ticked off. But, if I’ve got a choice (and I do), I’d rather shop elsewhere.

Convenient and efficient with competitive gas prices and a well stocked store.

While these guys stay fairly competitive on their prices they do almost nothing to maintain a brand new facility. HUGE pet peeve of mine is receipts printing at the pump. I need receipts and having a handicap makes “seeing the clerk” for a receipt a real PITA. Garbage on the ground and lack of maintenance of “freebies” like squeegee/paper towels says to me that the owners don’t give a s**t

I attended the Grand Opening celebration of the ANZ Petroleum Inc - Sunoco Travel Plaza in New Milford. The place is well located and besides having a Sonic it will soon have a 7-Eleven and a Tesla charging station. There are plenty of gas pumps.

Clerk thought i was stealing stickers, proceeded to interogate me and my girlfriend when i had to run out to the car to get more money and left them on the sonic counter, so i put them back, he came out to the car, accused me of stealing them, pulled me back into he store and tried to keep me there while he called the cops, until my girlfriend came back in and was forced to pay for the stickers that were put back, don't go here, not worth the hassle
