Sunoco Introduce

This Sunoco gas station is located at 4900 City Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19131. You can contact them at (215) 477-4565 or +1 215-477-4565. As a "Nearby Gas Stations" platform category entry, this location primarily offers fuel services.

Customer reviews indicate that this Sunoco station is known for having competitive gas prices compared to other stations in the surrounding area. This is a positive aspect highlighted by customers.

However, there are concerns regarding the functionality of the credit card readers at some of the pumps. Customers have reported that some readers are not updated, requiring them to physically slide their credit card instead of using newer payment methods. Therefore, customers may need to check which pumps have updated readers to avoid this inconvenience.

Additionally, there are allegations of potential overcharging. One customer reported being charged for premium gas despite selecting regular gas. The location of the receipt printer inside with the cashier has been interpreted by some customers as a potential tactic to make it less likely that customers will notice they have been overcharged. Therefore, customers are advised to carefully check their receipts.

While the gas prices are considered competitive, potential customers should be aware of the credit card reader issues and the possibility of being overcharged. It is recommended to check pump functionality and verify receipts carefully when refueling at this location.

Customer Reviews

Gas price is always better than other areas. Some credit card readers are not updated, so you need to check the right pumps if you do not want to slide your credit card to pay.

I selected regular gas and they charged me for premium. Maybe this is why the receipts print inside with the cashier- they hope you won't notice you've been overcharged

Over half the pumps non working - mine said "pay inside" so I went inside. I told the attendant I wanted to fill up but didn't know how much it would be and could I keep the card open. It was like I was talking a foreign language... Go across the street, they have more pumps and they work
