Very honest. It's very difficult to find an honest mechanic nowadays. But mutual motors is a very honest business. And the gas attendant, John, is a very polite and energetic employee. I know I'm not the only one that feels this way. I've spoken with several other people that get their gas at mutual and they all have the same opinion of John. An excellent, polite and professional worker. When I drive by if I noticed John is not working on the pumps, I'll wait till the next day to get my gas.

Came down there on a Saturday morning with no appointment and they were able to help me out right away. Changed out four tires while I waited. Bill the owner was accommodating and his men did a nice job! Plus, he gave me a good price for the work! Ill go back.

Only reason why I'm even taking the time to rate a gas station is because while stopping there i saw the owner treat his employees like garbage, I felt bad for them. Will not support a business own by someone like this.

If I could rate this lower I would have. I honestly didn’t have a problem with this shop called Mutual motors (attached to the gas station) till recently. I have gone to this shop before for my oil changes but a few months back I needed to change my rear brakes and rotors. I called to make an appointment to get them changed and when I arrived at the shop I asked how much it would be (so I could get enough cash out) and about how long it would me. Originally the owner quoted me at $280. I had been calling around to find out pricing differences and the next lowest price was $350 from auto zone. I received a text when my car was done and when I went to go pick it up, they tried to charge me $500. I was livid because that was way more than what was quoted and when I asked for why it was so high he couldn’t give me a straight answer. After a couple minutes he lowered the price to $400 which is still higher than auto zone but definitely more practical. After that ordeal i figured I would give them one last chance. My car needed an oil change and I figured, how could you mess that up? I’ve been going to them for over a year for my oil changes so it had become a pretty standard procedure to drop my car off and when I picked it up, it was between $60 to $70 depending on if they topped off my other fluid levels. Yesterday I went to this shop to drop my car off for an oil change and I asked them the same thing I always do to, if I could have a oil change and could they please look at my other fluid levels and top off as necessary. Yet when I go back to the mutual motors shop to retrieve my car, the bill came up to $135. I asked about the price and why it was so high and the employee there called the owner to ask about the charges. During that phone call the employee stated “yes I know she has no clue what she’s talking about, I’ll explain it to her.” Then he hung up the phone and turned back around with still no explanation of what the charges were. Since I’ve had my car, I have become very familiar with the maintenance my car needs and about how much things should cost. This price was outrageous! They charged me over double the price of an oil change and one of their excuses was because it was synthetic oil. Yet again I state, I’ve had my car for a while, it’s always had synthetic oil and I’ve been going to this shop for over a year so I know their prices well. This employee while I’m trying to explain this to him started raising his voice at me and calling me ‘baby girl’ and telling me that I had no clue what I was talking about. As well as demeaning my knowledge of car maintenance he continues raising his voice at me while telling me he had no clue the charges but I had to pay anyway. I told him that I wouldn’t not pay the bill till I knew what each charge was for. Instead of calling back the owner to break down the prices (like I had asked him to do), he told me if I had an issue I could call the cops and he was going to hold my car hostage. Then continues to tell me to call the owner on his personal cell phone (which I didn’t have access to nor was posted anywhere for me to attain the number) because he “didn’t feel like explaining the charges to me” (his words). He continued by saying I can call the owner myself to find out what they were if I really wanted to know. The owner showed back up at the shop and quickly dropped my bill to $80 (still high). If my bill was supposed to be $80 then why originally charge me $135 and threaten to keep my car away from me. I recommend for anyone to not go to this location and please spare yourself the frustration. I guess their morals have changed and who knows how much they will try to overcharge you. If you do take a change with ur wallet there then good luck to you!

Drove a few miles away from my route for better gas prices, and they were so friendly! Not used to that at gas stations, it was nice. Didn’t realise it was full service when I rolled in; they pumped my gas and cleaned my glass! I think I’ll be returning just for the service, even if it’s a bit out of the way. I’ve never felt like someone was happy to see me at a gas station before!
