Guy demanded a tip from my girlfriend and made her feel super uncomfortable. Didn’t say anything about the tip prior to filling the tank, but when we said “thank you,” he said, “i dont work for thank you, i work for tip. Give me dollar.” We rolled up the window and drove away. If you offer full service, the tip is extra. Maybe don’t be such a jerk and people might tip you. Never getting gas here again. BP at bay st near victory is better gas and cheaper anyway.

To my surprise I am not the only one who experienced this rude man asking for a tip. I have heard of a gas station requiring to tip an employee. First of all, if the gas station offers full service, that is the employee's job to do it. He should not be expected to be tipped. I could just fill the tank myself. He made me feel uncomfortable and was approaching so close to my window to demand the tip. I rolled up my window fast and drove away. That guy scared me. It is the 1st time I 've ever encountered such a situation. I will never come back to this gas station.

Currently at the gas station where this man is refusing to do his job and firstly assumed he wasn’t getting a tip. Absolutely disgusting

First of this 425 Vanderbilt at Staten Island Gas Stations is a self service we come out b coz of not tips to give a good service for our customers some people are good and some customers are very very rude they thiks that this is my Gas Station and we are working for him they never respect So many times people are changing their mind sometimes they cards and sometimes they say cash even though suddenly change their mind and start to Abouse Very very dirty language using They think that we are asking tips No no we are getting a salary that’s inaf we stopped giving a service b coz of the reason This massage who ever read he should know We are Adducted we are not loffer that’s why we work as a Respectedly This is just for your information Thanks If need more about the Gas station In New York no more full service every where the sign bord is there so some of the person wants free service and also asking Discounts They are always abouse In grace of America always Respect who ever it is a small category or big category give respect and take respect Who had mentioned in the Google they are disrespectful they don’t know the right facts matter they know how to spoiling the someone carrier This kind of people are just want show-up to show their name Google This is true and seniority words

1st time coming to this gas station and its rainy night. The guy comes up to me and tries to help me even thou i didnt ask him to help me with putting gas, then after he finishes he is asking for tips straight up and i checked i didnt have any cash and he was like you should always have cash with you in america and i was like listen if i had cash i would give you sorry, then he was like keep your sorry and excuse me at home this is america you should have cash always hahahaha i was like you are so dumb talking about america like its mandatory to give tips. Gotta change that employee as soon as possible or it will ruin Sunoco's reputation.
