I tried to buy a few ghost energy drinks and the kid told me that the ones I got didn't apply for the discount because they were "limited edition." I laughed and laughed and laughed and didn't buy them there. I went to a different gas station where they WERE discounted (pit stop) and enjoyed the rest of my day. Lol hilarious.

This long standing Sunoco had the least expensive diesel from a few suppliers in the area. They also carry three different five gallon pails of racing fuel for those who need super high octane gasoline whether headed to Lime Rock or because you own a really hot car with a big muscle engine. There is a mini-mart available as with most gas stations. At the end of Route 8, it's a right turn towards Winchester (Winsted) about a half mile down on the left.

No public bathrooms, some of young kid comes out and tells me I can’t relieve myself outside, meanwhile it’s raining. Honestly there’s no one around why do you care if I piss for literally 30 seconds on the grass and the rain washed it away like who cares. I guess bro just wanted to feel powerful for once, I bet his dad beats him at home. I always knew there was a reason why Cumbies is always packed and I never see anyone at this place. Why do you care, just let a man piss outside it’s not like I’m taking a dump on your front step. This place is a joke and based on the other reviews is full of scammers and doesn’t know the first thing about showing other people any sort of kindness.

🚫🚫🛑🛑🛑🛑✋️ scammers Be Careful He tried to scam me, I gave him $61 for lottery tickets, and he gave me tickets worth 40. I checked before I left. He refused to give me my tickets or money. he said come back after i close the shift, I called the police. I do not recommend this place.

If you continue south you will find a reputable gas station. I had an emergency at home that I was notified via text and home security system. I pulled into Sunoco so I could text and talk in a safe spot. I was there for over 5 minutes trying to resolve my issue and the gas station attendant came out and asked if everything was ok. I said I had a situation I was resolving and was almost done to which he told me to leave. I asked to please let me finish and he said no to please go up the road. I’m not a thug, it was middle of day, the place was empty so I wasn’t blocking parking, and I had my young some with me. I always use Sunoco gas but I promise I won’t give this place business anymore, not that my actions will do financial damage but negative reviews go a long way. So if you find yourself in an emergency situation don’t stop at this Sunoco in Winsted Ct because they will kick you out.
