I have been in Macungie for 2 years from South Florida. It was obvious from the start this is a very underperforming store. I was glad to be able to use the App and made my transition a lot easier. There were obvious signs of poor management since the gas price signs were not changed to reflect the actual prices. Probably the Store didn’t hire the best employees for whatever reason. Maybe this is why Turkey Hill isn’t building a new store in Emmaus! I am still saddened by its eventual closing on October 13th, 2024.

Stand in line for five minutes while the store is unoccupied, and then the employee resurfaces, only to say that she doesn’t know how to do money orders. Not only does she not know how to do money orders, she didn’t even know what a money order is!!!! How the hell can she possibly be working behind the counter if she can’t perform the functions that the job requires? Again, not only didn’t know how to do a money order, but literally did not know what a money order is. And listen folks, “I’m new” isn’t what people want to hear. This falls on management and ownership. Train your damn employees. How can she possibly be behind the counter if she doesn’t know how to do her job? I’m a business owner. This would never happen in a million years in my business. No one gets put in the trenches until they understand their duties and they know how to perform them. It’s amazing how poor the quality has become in retail businesses in America. High school kids working behind the counter. This is what you get.

Thank you Richard for being so kind to me ! They have a pretty extensive Turkey Hill beverage and ice cream selection. The lot and bathroom was clean and trash emptied!

I swear the pumps only work half of the time you go to use them. I don’t know how Weis and Wawa haven’t put this place out of business yet. I only go here for my gas because it’s usually never busy, but you have to take a gamble that the pumps are even working when you show up. Those pumps need a serious overhaul. Probably just gonna go to Weis and get gas from now on.
