Valero Fuel / Bolla Market

Ever since the attendants have begun washing windshields, my daughter, also a driver, and I have had multiple bad experiences here. This has always been my only spot to get gas, but no more. Clearly Valero has asked their attendants to clean the windshields. But I have found that I have to quickly stop them before they start. I don’t carry cash; I pay with a card for everything. Therefore, I don’t have cash to tip the attendant, and that very clearly upsets them. The attendant will hand the credit card and receipt to me, and of course I have to have the window open, and if I haven’t handed over a tip, the attendant just stands there staring in my window at me, without moving away, even as I start the car and/or put the window up. “Aggressive” is just the feeling that I get. I have to stop the attendant before he starts, to tell him that I do not have any cash to tip, so please don’t clean the windshield. I’m sorry, but I just don’t think I should have to do this, and I don’t think I should be pressured into a tip for something that took 30 seconds, and that I didn’t ask for. My daughter won’t get gas here anymore because of this aggressive behavior. I’ve also talked to 2 other women from church who’ve experienced the same situation. Valero, you’re going to lose more and more female customers who don’t feel safe in this situation, if you don’t change your attendants’ behavior.

Same as others, attendant started wiping my windshield with really dirty water without asking and while my window was open when I had just come from the car wash, glass is now streaky. Then he did something to the machine so my $43.50 total became $44. Actual theft. Didn’t feel safe/didn’t have time to argue with him. Defeats the whole purpose of coming here for a good gas rate. Disappointed.

Energy drinks are $4/each (a drink that goes normally for $2). I’ve seen some places gouge prices to $3 but $4?!? It’s a gas station not Times Square. Steer clear of this place. Much more fair gas stations a few yards away.

While the store is supposed to be open the guy decided to lock the door cuz he's cleaning the now. We were desperate for the bathroom but he was busy being on his phone.. When I knocked on the door to ask when they're closing (cuz I knew they're supposed to be open 24hrs he just motioned with his hands that's it's closed. After asking a few more times he finally came to the door & said that "he's cleaning now so he's closed".. so I asked if in a few minutes he'll open, he said "no it'll take a looong time till it'll dry"... Not sure if it was just laziness or anti-Semitically driven, but either way it was mind boggling..

Loved the experience, this place recalled memories from 70s and 80s with full tank of fuel, I also got my windshield washed by the attendant, that was great! Thank You. This was my first time at Valero fuel but will not be my last.
